Spaces, Orbit, and categories
A space is one set of links, feeds, and apps. The examples people start from are along the lines of Dev Matrix, Homelab & Infra, Live Pulse, and Personal. Switch with Tab and Shift+Tab, or click the space in the top bar. Create, rename, and delete spaces from that bar.
Quick Access Orbit
Section titled “Quick Access Orbit”Each space has six slots. Pin a web link, an Omarchy action, a local application, or a shell command, then launch it with 1 through 6 while search is empty.
Moving an item to another space clears its orbit pin.
Categories
Section titled “Categories”Columns are color-coded categories. Colors follow the active Omarchy theme: Color, Style, Border, and the semantic ANSI colors in colors.toml (blue, cyan, green, magenta, yellow, orange, red). The filter badges under the search field stay on one row and wrap when there are many categories.
A column is a static bookmark list, an RSS or Atom feed, or a GitHub repository. Feed setup is on Live columns.
Order and moving
Section titled “Order and moving”Hover a static bookmark and use ▲ / ▼ to reorder it inside its category. The arrows hide while you are searching or while the Favorites filter is on.
Move to… in the context menu, or the space and category fields in the edit dialog, send an item to another space. Right-click or Alt+M opens the menu. Alt+E opens the editor.
